Gunshots were heard at the UNRWA-run AlSamou’ School in Ein AlHiwleh refugee camp, in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon.
Local sources said the gunshots were fired by unidentified parties following overcrowding that occurred during the aid distribution process.
Eye-witnesses said the incident comes in response to the reluctance maintained by UNRWA staff during the distribution process.
A Palestinian woman reportedly fell into a faint and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
