The people of Khan Al Shieh camp in Damascus suburb suffer from a transportation crisis has been going on for several months, because of the regular army closure of all roads linking between the camp and the center of the capital, "Damascus" after repeated clashes in the neighboring towns, forcing parents to take the path of "Zakya - Khan Al Shieh "despite what they may be subjected because of the risk of repeated targeting.
The closure of roads has affected negatively on the availability of food and basic supplies inside the camp which led to the loss of many varieties and high prices of other available items.
Residents of the camp suffer from a severe shortage of health services, where only one UNRWA hospital available inside the camp which offers some simple medical services.
