AlAysh 48 Association launched the “Karama6” campaign to assist Palestinian and Syrian families sheltered in the substandard facilities set up in northern Syria.
The campaign, launched in partnership with donors from Palestinian territories occupied by Israel since 1948 and Beyaz Eller Association, comes as a snowstorm has hit Syria and the Middle East. Trucks laden with relief items, including 450 tons of wood, 4,000 blankets, 700 heaters, and 100 tons of flour, will be dispatched to northern Syria.
Heavy snowfall has affected north-west Syria since 18 January, damaging displacement sites, tents and people’s belongings.
