Palestinian refugee Kinan Ghazi Dha’if snatched the gold medal for 93 kg at the republic championship in the mixed martial arts (MMA), also referred to as cage fighting, held by the Kickboxing and Muay Thai Federation in Al-Jalaa Sports Hall in Damascus.
Kinan was born and raised in AlAyedeen Camp for Palestinian refugees, in Homs.
Palestinian refugee Yousef Barbabr also the won first place in the championship, for 76 kg. He is a resident of AlAyedeen camp in Hama.
