The Syrian regular army still prevents the residents of Al Husseniea camp to return to their homes for 444 daysunder the pretext of securing the area, while the displaced people are suffering from stressful living crises because of the continuing war in Syria.
It should be noted that Al Husseneia camp witnessed wide destruction and battles between the Syrian regime forces and the armed opposition forces until the regular army, the militias, the Committees of the General Command, Fatah Al-Intifada, and the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, which is fighting alongside with it, have imposed their control at the camp on 11 \ 10 \ 2013. These forces did not allow the residents, who were displaced to neighboring areas, to return to their homes, despite the area is free of militants and under control of the regime, however, and repeated promises from senior Syrian government officials and the Palestinian embassy.
