Within the project "Together for Warm Winter" the Palestine Charity Organization in collaboration with the Life Road Association and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth, distributed olive dregs on Palestinian families displaced to southern Syria, in Almazirab and Gellin and Tel-Shihab areas to be used as a means of heating.
The olive dregs are all that’s left of the olives after being squeezed including seeds and twigs and leaves, as it is a flammable material and helps to disseminate heating in case of use in Firewood heaters or in stoves Fire "fireplace" which is common because of the siege, and of the high prices and the lack of fuel.
