Ahmad Abu Touq, Palestinian refugee from Alramel camp in Latakia, is still in enforced disappearance for 2 and half years. Abu Touq was arrested by Assad forces in 6 September 2013 in a crackdown in the camp. His family, unofficially, had been told that Ahmad in the 235 security post, but with no confirmation about his fate.
Many letters and calls were received by AGPS about Palestinian detainees in Syria. Practical difficulties are experienced in the process of documenting the entire statistics of Palestinians in prison due to the extreme secrecy imposed by the regime, AGPS said. AGPS has listed (1044) Palestinian detainee are still in prisons, (78) of them from Alramel camp, while (431) have been tortured to death.
