Titled "Palestinians of Syria.. Refugees on The Road of Life", Action Group for Palestinians of Syria AGPS and Palestinian Return Centre PRC have issued the biannual report for the second half of 2015. The new report explains the state of Palestinians of Syria during the last six months of 2015 in and outside Syria.
The 146-Page report reveals important statistics of victims and displaced people. The report mentions that 3089 Palestinian victims died until last December, 1200 of them in Al-Yarmouk camp only. It is indicated that the figures in the report cover the entire period of the Syrian conflict from March 2011.
The number of displaced Palestinians stands at 200 thousand out of the country. While 71.2 thousands managed to reach Europe, the report said. In addition, the situation of Palestinian camps in Syria, where 3 camps are under siege, the report states the amount of destruction in Palestinian camps owing to military actions, where it reached to 70% in some camps such as Dara'a.
The 3-chapter report documents the violations and events that happened during the six months period specified in the report. Relying on a reliable methodology, the report perceives the reality of living, humanitarian and health aspects in these camps. In addition to the most prominent daily events which passes those places and people, from the bombing and destruction to arrests.
The report addresses the general situation of the displaced Palestinians outside Syria, either in the neighbouring countries or the countries where they have migrated to.
It is indicated that the current report monitors the most important events in the second half of 2015. Three reports had preceded which documented the events over the course of 2014 and the first half of 2015. In addition, the comprehensive report of the Palestinians state prior 2014.
