According to reports received from Khan Eshieh camp in Damascus Suburb, the Syrian regime troops stationed at the regiment 137 cut off the road between Khan Eshieh and Zakya town, meanwhile, fired flares in the surroundings.
Zakya – Khan Eshieh road is considered the only road that supplies the residents of the camp with foods and essential needs, while all other roads leading to the camp had been cut before, forcing the residents to take the path of Zakya despite of its high risks, as it is being targeted frequently by Syrian army, and many residents of the camp were killed while passing through it, calling it the "road of death". Action group documented 141 victims from Khan Alsheh camp were killed during the war in Syria.
