Fighter jets, believed to be Russian, targeted at predawn time on Friday Khan Al-Shih’s surrounding ranches with six airstrikes in a raw, sparking a state of panic among refugee children and women.
Over the past twenty days, Syrian and Russian fighter aircrafts have stepped up heavy blitzes and artillery rounds on Khan Al-Shih camp, killing dozens of refugees and leaving several others wounded.
Residents of Khan Al-Shih camp have also launched distress signals over the complete closure imposed on the area for 20 days running, blocking their access out of an into the camp to fetch food, water, and medicines.
