Residents of the Yarmouk and Deraa camps have launched cries for help over an acute water crisis, saying they have been forced to drink water spouting from contaminated artesian wells.
Speaking with AGPS, experts warned of the life-threatening diseases inflicted by the contaminated artesian wells due to the germ-infested deposits accumulated in the absence of water-disinfection endeavors.
The Syrian government has cut off water supplies to Yarmouk Camp for over 831 days running and to the Deraa Camp for over 1,025 consecutive days.
