The Palestine Charity Commission in southern Damascus has maximized its relief services to the Palestinian refugees displaced from Yarmouk and sheltered in the adjacent towns of Yalda, Beit Sahem, and Babila.
The charity has been striving to secure water for the displaced Palestinian refugees on a daily basis. Efforts have also been underway by the charity to provide civilians with drinking water from AlFija spring through a newly established water unit.
Last month, the commission handed over 1,865 water barrels to some 400 families. 300 families also received water supplies through AlFija water unit during March. Orphans, wounded and disabled refugees, and elderly residents benefited from the move.
