The Assembly of Palestinian instructors from Syria held its 2nd Annual Conference on Monday in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon under the slogan “Achievements and Challenges;”
The event was hosted under the sponsorship of the International Association of Palestinian Professional Institutions. Activists and civil society representatives were in attendance.
Head of the assembly, Mr. Younis AlMesri, acclaimed the achievements made by the group since its inception, vowing that the assembly will try every possible effort to rehabilitate the status of the instructor and boost teachers’ academic and professional output.
Mr AlMesri called on the UNRWA to backtrack on its oppressive measures and to work on securing an adequate and safe educational atmosphere for Palestinian learners.
