The Palestine Charity Commission in southern Syria, in cooperation with Khaira Oumma organization, distributed orphan allowances to 10 families sheltered in AlMuzeireeb at an estimated sum of $45 per every orphan.
The charity, in partnership with the Turkish IHH organization, also handed over 100 food baskets to 100 needy families displaced from Yarmouk Basin, among other areas, and who have been seeking refuge in AlMuzeireeb and Zizon.
AlMuzeireeb is home to nearly 1,700 Palestinian families along with hundreds of other Palestinian families displaced from Daraa Camp. Living conditions have taken a turn for the worse in the area due to the rampant warfare and the lack of relief assistance.
