The Syrian government forces tasked the political committee in southern Damascus to appoint delegates to speak up for the Palestinian refugee community south of Damascus during a projected round of talks with government representatives.
The calls were launched following a meeting between members of the political committee in southern Damascus and government envoys. Two Imams (mosque preachers) from Beit Sahem and Babila towns—Sheikh Abu Abdou AlHindi and Sheikh Anas AlTawil—were in attendance.
