The Palestine Charity Commission distributed 189 food baskets to Palestinian refugees from Syria, mostly orphans, the elderly, and people with special needs, in AlZeina Valley, south of Lebanon.
The move makes part of the “Ramadan Food Basket” campaign launched by the charity as part of ongoing endeavors to alleviate the dire situation endured by the displaced Palestinian families from Syria.
According to UNRWA estimates until December 2016, some 31,000 Palestinian refugees from Syria have been taking shelter in Lebanon.
