Anonymous assailants came down heavily on the Palestinian refugee Abu Ahmad AlTalawi in Khan Dannun Camp, in Rif Dimashq. AlTalawi fell in a faint after he was stabbed and beaten in his head.
Activists held Khan Dannun’s security forces responsible for the assault, accusing them of giving a green light to criminals, thieves, and lawbreakers in the camp.
Residents if Khan Dannun Camp, controlled by the Syrian government troops, have been enduring abject living conditions due to the lack of basic services, price upsurge, and chronic power and water blackouts.
