Tension in Al-Qadam, Damascus, elevated and a state of fear took over the area’s residents, after the Syrian forces warned residents living near the city’s police station, city hall and the contact points with Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, which is controlled by ISIS, to leave their houses in anticipation for a military operation.
In another context, ISIS continues to dig tunnels and increase fortifications on the contact points with “Tahrir Al-Sham” and opposition factions in Yelda. ISIS had previously threatened Al-Qadam’s residents of breaking into the area, in conjunction with a state of alert in the areas under its control in Al-Hajar Al-Aswad and Al-Assaly neighborhood.
