AGPS’s documented statistics provide that more than 3606 Palestinian refugees have died due to the war in Syria, since 2012.
According to the numbers, 1148 refugees died from the exchanged bombardments between the Syrian regime forces and the armed opposition groups, while the clashes between the regime and the opposition led to the death of 941 people. 474 refugees died due to torture while interrogating them in the prisons and detention camps of the Syrian regime.
In addition, 307 refugees died because of snipers shots and 201 Palestinians lost their lives died due to the shortage of food and medical care, because of the siege imposed on the Palestinian refugee camps by the Syrian regime forces and the Palestinian factions affiliated to it.
The remaining victims died for various other reasons, including explosions, field executions and drowning while immigrating to Europe.
