The Syrian military security branch arrested 19-year-old, Palestinian, “Ahmed Mahmoud Eid,” resident of Khan Al-Sheih camp for Palestinian refugees in the suburbs of Damascus, without any further information about the reason for his detention or his location.
This arrest is not the first of its kind. The Syrian security has arrested a number of the camp’s residents after the Reconciliation Agreement, in a violation of the agreement between it and the armed Syrian opposition forces in the Khan Al-Sheih area. The Syrian security services continue to detain 243 Palestinian refugees from the Khan Al-Sheih camp, according to the Action Group’s statistics.
