Clashes broke out yesterday, on the Palestine Street axis, between the Karaeen battalion and the Syrian regime forces and its affiliated Palestinian factions, in which it used light and medium weapons. No injuries were reported on either side. This coincided with the bombardment of Palestine Street and the vicinity of the Yarmouk secondary school for girls.
The remaining residents of Yarmouk camp suffer from severe humanitarian conditions as a result of the continued bombardments and clashes, as well as the siege imposed on the camp by the Syrian regime since mid-2012, and the siege imposed by ISIS on the residents of the western side of Yarmouk camp, which lies under the control of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (previously known as Al-Nusra).
