An infant from Yarmouk camp died on Sunday 11th of March, as a result of the lack of medical care and the siege imposed on the camp by the regime and the Palestinian factions affiliated to it.
The Action Group’s correspondent stated that the 7-month-old baby girl, “Qatar Al-Nada,” died of a severe lung hemorrhage, after doctors failed to treat her in Yarmouk camp, adding that her case required that she be transferred to one of Damascus’s hospitals for treatment, however the unavailability of this led to her death.
The Action Group’s statistics indicate that 206 Palestinian refugees have died because of malnutrition and the lack of medical care, as a result of the siege. Most of the victims are from Yarmouk camp.
