In Turkey, the Kheir Umma Foundation distributed Ramadan baskets to the Palestinian families displaced from south Syria to Turkey as part of its campaign, “Ramadan Al-Kheir.”
According to the organizers, the distribution included families living in the cities of Adana, Ottoman, Iskandarun, Karkhan, Antakya and Rihaniyah. 350 families benefited from the support provided.
Informal statistics indicate that the number of Palestinian-Syrian refugees in Turkey is approximately 8,000, of which the majority live in difficult conditions and suffer from the lack of job opportunities and low wages.
