Activists and civilians in Yarmouk Camp called on the Red Crescent and the human rights organizations to urgently step in so as to remove the bodies of five residents who have remained under the mounds of debris piled up in the camp.
According to local activists, the bodies of Abdul Hadi Fayez Abdul Hadi, Basema Ghoutani, Haifa AlHaj, Mohamed Hadaba, and Inshirah AlShaabi have been stranded under the stacks of debris in Ata AlZeir Street.
Sometime earlier, AGPS called on the Syrian government to allow paramedics and civil defense crews a safe access to Yarmouk Camp so as to remove the bodies of civilians who were killed in the recent round of hostilities launched by the government forces south of Damascus.
A statement by AGPS urged the international community and institutions to step up pressure on the Syrian government so as to remove the bodies of Palestinian victims stuck under the ruins of Yarmouk Camp.
