The number of Palestinian refugees from Syria in Jordan decreased to "10.6" thousands, after it previously exceeded "15" thousand Palestinian refugees, according to the UNRWA statistics. 173 refugees live in Cyber City northern Jordan near the Syrian borders, while most other refugees live inside Jordanian cities or in the Zaatari camp and they pretend to be Syrian refugees, where the authorities deport the Palestinian refugees back to Syria where they fled in fear for their lives.
Moreover, most of the refugees suffer from extreme poverty, and are distributed to cities: Irbid, Zarqa, Amman, Mafraq, Zaatari camp, and Cyber City in varying proportions. It is referred that Jordan imposes restrictions on the entry of Palestinians and return some refugees forcibly to Syria, according to a report by Amnesty International.
