The committee overseeing debris clearance in Yarmouk said efforts have been ongoing to remove rubble from the vicinities of AlKhames Clinic, UNRWA schools, Yarmouk Girls’ High School, and AlMalikiya School.
Debris clearance has also been in progress in AlMaghareba neighborhood and Street 15. A number of access roads have been re-opened in the area.
A UNRWA delegation and representatives of the General Authority for Refugees are expected to pop in the area on Saturday morning to inspect the damage wrought on UNRWA schools and facilities and set up a reconstruction plan, pending the final consent of the Syrian government.
