The Turkish authorities released the Palestinian refugee Zakiya Mustafa Amer, formerly sheltered in Handarat Camp in Syria, after she had been detained for 13 days at the Central Prison in Antakya, south of Turkey, over allegations of creeping into the Turkish-Syrian borders.
An AGPS reporter said Zakiya’s release was brokered by Palestinian institutions and NGOs.
Zakiya received a kimlik card allowing her to freely move across Turkey.
