Rally Held by Palestinians from Syria in Lebanon in Solidarity with Embattled Gaza

Palestinian refugees from Syria taking shelter in AlBadawi refugee camp, north of Lebanon, rallied a couple of days earlier in solidarity with the people of Gaza, who have gone traumatized in the latest round of Israeli onslaughts.

The refugees strongly condemned the Israeli aggressions targeting civilian homes and facilities in the besieged enclave and denounced the silence maintained by the international community as regards Israel’s unabated terrorism against the Palestinians.

The rally-goers urged the international community to pressurize the Israeli occupation government so as to lift the 12-year-old crippling siege on Gaza and cease its crimes against innocent civilians.

The refugees hailed the Palestinian resistance and people who have stood on guard throughout their anti-occupation struggle, calling on all national factions to combine forces in the face of the simmering Israeli crimes.

Some 750 Palestinian families from Syria have been taking shelter in the Badawi refugee camp, in Lebanon, fleeing war-torn Syria.
