Palestinian refugee Adham Shahada Rafe’, aged 19, was released from a Syrian state detention center following a 15-day remand.
Rafe’ is a member of the Liwaa AlQuds battalion, affiliated with the Syrian government. He is a resident of AlNeirab Camp, in Aleppo.
Sometime earlier, a number of Liwaa AlQuds affiliates, most notably Samer Rafe’, were arrested by the Syrian security forces over charges of corruption and arms sales. Activists also slammed commander Mohamed AlSa’id of blackmailing.
