AGPS kept record of the death of 145 Palestinian refugees in Yarmouk Camp during ISIS control of the area from April 2015 until the launch of the Syrian military operation on April 18, 2018.
Dozens of Palestinians were killed under shelling and others died as a result of undernourishment and medical neglect. Several bodies, including those of activists Jamal Khalifa and Abdul Latif AlRimawi, were spotted in public parks after their families failed to reach local cemeteries.
According to AGPS figures, 67 Palestinians died during the same period in shooting attacks while 24 refugees were gunned down by snipers. 22 Palestinians were also pronounced dead as a result of the blockade and lack of medical care; 18 were killed under shelling; Nine Palestinians were subjected to extrajudicial field execution; Two refugees were assassinated; One refugee was killed in a blast and another drowned at sea. One more refugee died of unknown reasons.
