The Follow-Up Committee of Palestinians from Syria in Gaza has called on Palestinian refugees who have returned to Gaza to include their ID numbers on their Palestinian passports so as to be able to gain access out of Rafah border crossing with Egypt.
In order for Palestinians to pass through the Rafah terminal a decision to that end should be issued by the Egyptian authorities.
Some 1,000 Palestinian refugees fled from Syria to Gaza, where they have been enduring dire living conditions due to the socio-economic crises rocking the enclave and the lack of humanitarian assistance by such relief bodies as UNRWA.
