Elderly Palestinian Refugee Goes Missing in Damascus

Elderly Palestinian refugee Kamel Ahmad AlAwar, aged 85, has disappeared from AlQabon area, in Damascus, since November 23, 2018, on his way to his home in Qatna, in Rif Dimashq.

His family continues to appeal for information about his condition and whereabouts.

The missing refugee has reportedly been diagnosed with cardiovascular disorders.

According to AGPS data, over 300 Palestinian refugees, including women and minors, have gone missing since the outbreak of the Syrian warfare. Most of those who have disappeared are reportedly residents of Yarmouk Camp for Palestinian refugees, south of Damascus.
