728 Palestinian Refugees Killed in Pro-Gov’t Shootouts in Syria

728 Palestinian refugees were killed as they fought alongside the Syrian government forces.

The list includes 276 Palestinian refugees who died as they joined the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA), affiliated with the Syrian government. Palestinians aged 18 and above have been forced to join the PLA in Syria.

At the same time, 100 Palestinians affiliated with the Popular Front – General Command were killed in the raging hostilities. 85 others died as they fought alongside the pro-government Liwaa AlQuds squad.

The list also includes 35 refugees affiliated with Fatah AlIntifada, 21 from AlJalil Forces, 24 from Free Palestine Movement, and 187 others from pro-government militias.

Sources close to the Syrian government said the Syrian authorities have recently paid tribute to the families of 750 Palestinian refugees killed in pro-government battles.
