Member of the PLO’s Executive Committee Wasel Abu Yousef told AlWatan daily that the PLO has secured a sum of $2 million to carry on debris-clearance in Yarmouk.
Abu Yousef said contacts have been held with the Syrian authorities in order to boost reconstruction and facilitate the refugees’ return.
He quoted Syrian authorities as stating that displaced refugees will have their situation worked out and will be granted safe access to their homes.
