A Palestinian electrical engineer from AlHajar AlAswad died under torture in Syrian state jails.
The casualty was kidnapped in 2015 at a checkpoint in AlAbaseen area on his way back home from his workplace in Damascus. He reportedly suffers from a memory loss as a result of an electric shock he sustained while working. As a result, he turned into a person with special needs.
The Syrian authorities handed over his body to his wife after they forced her to sign a document alleging that her husband had contacts with terror parties and stipulating that the funeral be held secretly.
