Palestinian refugee Husam Maw’ed has been held in Syrian state prisons for the seventh consecutive year.
Husam was kidnapped along with the Palestinian girl Salma Abdul Razaq at the al-Bashir checkpoint, set up at the main entrance to Yarmouk Camp, on December 30, 2012. Their fate and whereabouts have been shrouded in mystery.
