The Charity Commission for the Relief of the Palestine People in partnership with the Palestinian Red Crescent have provided free medical checks and therapy to displaced Palestinian refugees south of Damascus.
The six-day move makes part of the 9th Medical Week staged in the area. Cardiac tests, general health check-ups, and pediatric diagnosis have been conducted. Elderly persons and persons with special needs and/or chronic diseases have undergone special checks.
Different types of drugs have been handed over to the impoverished patients.
Thousands of displaced Palestinians have sought refuge in Yalda, Babila, and Beit Sahem towns, where they continue to suffer dire socio-economic conditions.
