Palestinian Refugee Mohamed Ghanam Released by Anonymous Militia

Residents of Daraa Camp for Palestinian refugees south of Syria have called on the concerned authorities to work on rehabilitating power networks in the area.

Civilians said power lines which were damaged as a result of the heavy shelling rocking the area have gone through frequent blackouts.

All the way through the eight-year conflict, the Syrian government forces tightened grip on Daraa residents, blocking their access to aid items and cutting drinking water for months. Over 80% of civilian buildings and facilities also sustained heavy damage in the rampant shelling on the camp.
