Palestinian Refugee Hazem Abu Ajaj Secretly Held in Syrian Prison for 6th Year

Palestinian young man Hazem Ahmad Abu Ajaj, born in 1972, has been enduring a mysterious fate in Syrian state jails for the sixth consecutive year.

Hazem was arrested at the Batikha checkpoint on his way out of Yarmouk Camp in 2013. His condition and whereabouts remain unknown.

According to AGPS data, 1746 Palestinian refugees have been secretly locked up in Syrian government prisons, among them over 107 women and dozens of minors.
