Palestinian refugee Muayad Khaled AlHayek has been enduring a mysterious fate in Syrian state lock-ups, where he has been held for the fourth consecutive year.
Muayad was arrested on April 16, 2015, at the age of 14. Ex-prisoners said they last met him at the security branch in Hama.
Muayad’s brother, Mohamed Khaled, died under torture in Syrian government prisons while his father has been forcibly disappeared in government penitentiaries since 2014.
