Continues "Stealing" in Yarmouk camp to remove the marble

In southern Damascus, activist said, citing eyewitnesses, that Syrian regime-affiliated groups are stealing marble from houses in Rama, Yarmouk and the 15 streets in the devastated Yarmouk camp, in a phenomenon linked to Syrian regime troops called ‘Tafish’. The activists noted that these groups are affiliated to the Fourth Division, the security services and a number of Palestinian factions, adding that they collect the stolen materials and transfer them outside the camp.

Syrian army members along with affiliated Palestinian groups stole civilian homes in Yarmouk camp and the surrounding neighborhoods that the regime had sized control over them on 21 May, 2018.

On 19 April 2018, Yarmouk camp was attacked to expel ISIS from the camp, with Russian air support and the participation of Palestinian factions, where all types of ground and air weapons were used, leaving 60% of Yarmouk camp damaged and dozens of civilians dead.
