Palestinian refugee Haytham Ahmad Sherkes, a resident of AlHajar AlAswad neighborhood, south of Damascus, has been enduring a mysterious fate in Syrian government prisons, where he has been held for the fifth year running. He was arrested on November 4, 2014.

AGPS kept record of the incarceration of 1,758 Palestinian refugees in Syrian government lock-ups, among them 108 female detainees.
