14 Palestinian Migrants Intercepted by Turkish Coast Guard

20 migrants, including 14 Palestinian refugees, were caught onboard a boat owned by the Turkish coast guard, trying to reach a Greek island.

Turkish sources said Palestinian, Syrian, and Iraqi migrants were intercepted by the Turkish coast guard off Yalıkavak’s seashore, near Bodrum, in Muğla province on the Aegean coast of Turkey, trying to disembark on Kos Island.

Turkey has served as a major launch-off point for migrants fleeing Syria, among other war-stricken zones, onboard “death boats” bound for Europe.

AGPS kept record of the death of dozens of Palestinian refugees at sea, trying to reach European destinations.
