Palestinian student Ahmad AlKayali was honored by the Syrian Ministry of Education for creating a smart exam box.
The Education Ministry said the box functions by means of artificial intelligence and serves to set exam questions and correct student responses without human intervention and at a fast pace.
The Education Minister gave instructions for coordination between the concerned departments so as to develop the new hardware for future usage.
Ahmad was raised in Yarmouk Camp for Palestinian refugees, in Damascus. He is a third-year student at the Mohsinia Secondary School in Damascus.
