Palestinian Refugee Held in Syrian Dungeons Since 2013

Palestinian refugee Mohamed Salem Ali AlMarkaten, aged 60, has been incarcerated in Syrian government prisons for the fifth year running.

Mohamed was kidnapped by the government forces on his way out of Yarmouk Camp and was dragged to an unknown location. His condition and whereabouts has been shrouded in mystery.

AGPS kept record of the incarceration of 1,758 Palestinians in Syrian government jails, among them 108 women and girls.
