Palestinian refugee Yaser Kareem was released from a Syrian government prison, where he had been held along with other Palestinians displaced from Yarmouk Camp to Yalda town, south of Damascus, after they were arrested in early April.
Yaser and the other refugees were rounded up by Syrian security forces after they were summoned to questioning by reconciliation committees at the Palestine Branch.
Last week, the Syrian security forces freed Palestinian refugee Issa Amayri, who was also arrested in April. Other Palestinians, including four women, who were arrested in the same sweep have been held captive.
