Khayra Ummah Organization handed over 500 food baskets to vulnerable Palestinian families from Syria in Istanbul.
Director of Khayra Ummah charity, Abdul Jabar Shalabi, said the move makes part of ongoing attempts to alleviate the economic hardship wrought by COVID-19 outbreak.
Some 1,500 Palestinian families displaced from Syria live in Istanbul, mostly in the city’s European side, where they have been subjected to dire conditions.
