The Syrian warplanes targeted the vicinity of Khan Al Shieh camp , the 137 area and Al Abaseyya farms with 6 explosive barrels ,moreover, it is referred that the Syrian Army targeted the mentioned areas with cluster bombs ,which are weapons containing multiple explosive sub-munitions. Like landmines, these sub-munitions can remain a fatal threat to anyone in the area long after a conflict ends.
Zakia Khan Al Shieh road is still closed due to targeting the camp with heavy gun machines, shells, and snipers and warnings for the residents of Khan Al Shieh from passing through Zakia road. It is referred that Zakia road is the only road that connects Khan Al Shieh camp with Damascus the Syrian capital. Food and bread are entered to the camp through Zakia road which increases the living crises that the residents suffer in addition to the unavailability of financial resources and the unemployment spread.
