Activists said benevolent donors have contributed sums of money for the treatment of a Palestinian child from Syria living in Ein AlHilweh camp, south of Lebanon, and whose foot has been broken in an accident.
The father was forced to take his child out of the hospital after he failed to secure surgery fees.
According to a survey conducted by the American University of Beirut in 2015, nearly 90 percent of the PRS population in Lebanon live in poverty, including 9 per cent who are in extreme poverty and unable to meet even their most essential food requirements.
