Palestinian activists have launched appeals for securing urgently-needed cash for the treatment of a Palestinian baby girl from Syria who sustained a hemorrhage shortly after her birth at Dar AlAmal clinic in Baalbek.
The activists said the fees for surgery and a one-night incubator are estimated at nearly 1,200 USD. No contribution has been made so far by UNRWA.
The newborn was urgently transferred to AlBdullah hospital in Baalbek due to lower incubator costs.
